A 79th North London Derby will kick off Sunday afternoon at White Hart Lane. Both teams are in a tight battle for a Champions League spot, so Sunday's match will be very intense.

Arsenal's season has not been all that impressive up until this point. A promising start quickly turned into frustration for Arsenal fans who had hoped that the team could some how bounce back from losing Robin van Persie and Alex Song.

The truth is, Arsenal is currently fifth in the Premier League, four points adrift from London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. In Arsene Wenger's time at Arsenal, his side has never finished below Tottenham in the league standings, so if he looks to continue that run, he will need his players to up their game in the final months of the campaign.

Getting a win at White Hart Lane could be just what the Arsenal players need. Having been eliminated from the FA Cup a few weeks ago against Blackburn left Arsenal fans on the edge of a nervous break down. They then followed that up with a 1-3 defeat at home against Bayern Munich.

With their title hopes nearly done, Arsenal will need to figure out a way to stop Gareth Bale on Sunday. The Welshman has been in incredible form of late, but Arsene Wenger believes that Bale's form is temporary.

"At the moment, Bale has a good conversion rate from the chances he creates to the number of goals he scores," said Wenger.

"To maintain that percentage, which is at the moment maybe the best in Europe, will be very, very difficult."

After hearing these words from Arsene Wenger, Bale will certainly use them as added confidence for Sunday's match, as if he needed another reason to go out and put on another positive performance.

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas will have to make sure he studies his strategy well on Sunday, considering his last results against Arsenal. Their first meeting of the season ended in a 5-2 defeat, after Adebayor was sent off.

Before joining Tottenham, Villas-Boas had been defeated at Stamford Bridge against Arsenal in a 3-5 final.

Arsenal's Abou Diaby will face a late fitness test after picking up yet another injury in Arsenal's last match, while Tottenham's Jermaine Defoe could be back on the Spurs bench as an option for AVB in Sunday's match.
